ALEXANDRIA LYALL

OWNER & ARTIST

Alexandria Lyall began her tattoo career in 2019 painting traditional flash, which lead to her apprenticeship in Seattle, WA. After she completed her apprenticeship, she moved to Austin, Texas in 2021 and started working at Golden Monkey Tattoo. Alexandria’s passion for tattooing can be found in it’s history and traditions —something a lot of new shops now lack. Her goal in opening Eight Ball Electric is the want to bring together the culture of tattooing and everything she’s grown to love about it — a shop that serves the modern world, but takes you back to the classic, loud-machine havin’, flash off the wall pickin’, tattoo social club. A place for all walks of life, no matter what. Inspired mostly by southwestern lifestyle, motorcycles and the outdoors, Alexandria specializes in traditional and fine-line tattooing.

BRENNA GREENWELL

ARTIST

Brenna Greenwell began her tattoo journey in 2019 with an apprenticeship at the former Oracle Tattoo Guild, after receiving a BFA from the University of Kentucky. She made the move to Austin, Texas in 2022, and helped bring to life what we now know as Eight Ball Electric Tattoo in 2024. Taking inspiration from sleazy 70s and 80s subculture, Playboy magazine, and classic slasher movies, Brenna specializes in pinups and horror themes. Outside of tattooing, she's involved with the horror community here in Austin. Working closely with Bat City Scaregrounds, Blood Over Texas, and other local businesses in the dark art world, Brenna vends original velvet paintings and art prints throughout the year.
