ALEXANDRIA LYALL
OWNER & ARTIST
Alexandria has had a passion for art her whole life. She painted and took art classes as a kid, and then dedicated her time to playing music and modeling. She went to college for Music Business getting her Associates Degree and then in 2019 she went back to school and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Metaphysical Humanistic Sciences. While in school, she got back into painting and began drawing traditional flash, which led to her apprenticeship in Seattle, WA under Annie Motel. After she completed her apprenticeship, she moved to Austin, Texas and started working at Golden Monkey Tattoo. Alexandria’s passion for tattooing can be found in it’s history and traditions – something that is often forgotten about or looked past in modern-day tattooing. She is inspired by Southwestern culture, the outdoors, religious art, death, motorcycles and old trucks, and of course, traditional tattoo paintings. Most of her work is black and grey fine-line, but she also enjoys tattooing color and traditional style. When she’s not tattooing, she spends her time going to the gym, cooking, oil painting, and enjoys many outdoor activities like fishing and camping. Her goal in opening Eight Ball Electric is to bring back the classic feel of a walk-in street shop – a place that puts out clean, professional and quality tattoos while providing an environment that welcomes you no matter where you come from. A social club of tattooers, tattoo collectors, and anyone that likes to have a damn good time.

Outside of tattooing, she's involved with the horror community here in Austin. Working closely with Bat City Scaregrounds, Blood Over Texas, and other local businesses in the dark art world, Brenna vends original velvet paintings and art prints throughout the year.
